Financial Controller Opportunity
United Living Group is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our Finance Team. Reporting to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing best-in-class financial control and management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage timely month-end processes and submission of group reporting packs
- Oversee balance sheet reporting and reconciliations
- Develop and implement cash flow and working capital strategies
- Ensure the Company's financial systems are robust, compliant, and support current activities
- Coordinate finance requirements for supply chain and customers
- Develop and maintain financial governance for project and commercial processes
- Annual and in-year budgeting and reporting
- Analysis of standard costings for internal resources
- Work with senior managers to optimize financial performance
- Manage statutory audit processes and requirements
Requirements:
- Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
- Experience in construction or services industries desirable but not essential
- Strong technical accounting background and commercial awareness
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to influence business decision making
- Personable with good communication skills and ability to build strong relationships
