Job Description:
A highly skilled Sheet Metal Craftsman is required to join our team at Syntech Recruitment Ltd. The successful candidate will have experience with riveting and working with engineering drawings.

In this role, you will be responsible for building complex safety equipment for the Aerospace/Defence markets using a variety of handheld tools, adhesives, and assembly techniques. You will work in a busy assembly department and must be able to interpret engineering diagrams and build plans accurately.

The ideal candidate will have experience with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and health and safety protocols within a workshop environment. They will also possess good knowledge of inspection techniques and be able to identify potential issues before they become major problems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Building complex safety equipment using aluminium and fibreglass components
  • Riveting and assembling sub-assemblies using hand tools
  • Inspecting products for quality and identifying potential issues

Requirements:
  • Experience with riveting and working with engineering drawings
  • Good understanding of SOPs and health and safety protocols
