Metalwork Specialist

**About the Role:** We are looking for an Assembly Technician to work in our busy assembly department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assembling complex safety equipment for the Aerospace/Defence markets.

**Key Responsibilities:

• Assembling components according to engineering drawings
• Maintaining a safe and clean working environment
• Ensuring product quality is perfect every time

**Requirements:

• Accuracy to engineering diagrams and build plans
• Good understanding of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Experience with riveting is essential
• Other sheet metal skills such as bonding, gluing etc beneficial
• Experience working with hand tools for sub-assemblies
• Basic inspection experience
• Good knowledge of health and safety within a workshop environment

**Location:** Based close to Uxbridge, Middlesex, five days a week, with free parking available. Working hours: 37hr week (Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm / Friday 8am-12pm).
