We are partnering with Cobb & Jones Recruitment Limited to find a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to support their finance team. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic business with a strong presence in the UK and Europe.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records on accounting systems.
- Distribute daily sales invoice reports to stakeholders.
- Provide weekly aged debt reports to management, highlighting any potential issues.
- Ensure invoices and credit notes are matched and reconciled as required.
- Allocate cash received to the correct customer accounts in a timely manner.
- Review unallocated payments to ensure prompt and accurate allocation.
- Liaise with customers regarding receipts without remittances, resolving any issues promptly.
- Process PayPal transactions and issue customer statements and dunning letters as necessary.
- Conduct credit control activities to chase debtors and ensure timely payment.
- Run Creditsafe reports and escalate any issues in line with agreed guidelines.
- Upload sales invoices to customer portals and resolve any outstanding queries in a timely manner.
- Process customer refunds as required, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a sales ledger, accounts receivable, or credit control position.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial regulations.
