Child Protection Specialist

Brook Street UK is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Child Protection Specialist to join their team at a family assessment centre in Sawbridgeworth, London.
About the Role:
As a key member of our client's team, you will be responsible for working with children and families to provide support and guidance in times of need. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong communication skills, empathy, and a passion for making a positive impact on people's lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- To work closely with social workers, other professionals, and families to assess and address the needs of vulnerable children
- To develop and implement effective strategies to protect children from harm and promote their well-being
- To maintain accurate and up-to-date records of case work and progress
- To contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve services for children and families
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Social Work or a related field
- Post-qualifying experience in child protection and safeguarding
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Benefits:
This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary of £45,000 - £48,000 per annum (depending on experience) and a range of benefits including professional development opportunities and a supportive working environment.
