Fastnet Fish Limited is seeking a highly skilled Packaging Compliance Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the company, you will be responsible for ensuring that all packaging waste meets regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a food technical administration role and possess knowledge of fish and seafood commodity codes/scientific names. Familiarity with HACCP, BRCGS, MSC/ASC, and packaging waste/plastic tax reporting is also essential.

The successful applicant will receive a competitive salary (£40,000 - £60,000 per annum) and comprehensive pension benefits. This is a full-time position (Monday to Friday) offering a stable career path for a motivated individual.

About the Role:

  • Ensure packaging waste complies with regulatory frameworks (BRCGS etc.)
  • Process customer complaints, non-conformance reports, and issue customer credit notes
  • Conduct internal audits against regulatory frameworks and supplier audits
  • Work closely with the team to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance

Requirements:

  • 2 years' experience in a food technical administration role
  • Familiarity with fish and seafood commodity codes/scientific names
  • Strong understanding of HACCP, BRCGS, MSC/ASC, and packaging waste/plastic tax reporting
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
