Tutoring Specialist Lead

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Academic Tutor to join our team at Austin Fraser. As an Academic Tutor, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning support to learners. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and learners.
**Key Responsibilities**
The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:
- Provide GCSE delivery and ad hoc Functional Skills to a caseload of learners.
- Develop and implement effective teaching plans to meet learner needs.
- Support learners face-to-face in their academies in groups.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and planning.
- Ensure ILPs are completed appropriate to individual learner requirements.
- Complete registers using our e-portfolio and log quality samples of teaching and learning.
- Monitor attendance and performance of all learners on caseload and report to management.
- Provide support systems to facilitate positive retention, achievement, and progression.
- Timely completion of assessment and documentation.
- Contribute to learner disciplinary action requirements.
- Undertake internal moderation activities as required.
- Responsible for bookings of all Maths examinations and SLC assessments.
- Work collaboratively with GCSE manager to ensure delivery targets are achieved.
- Promote safe working practices and comply with current Health and Safety legislation.
- Undertake learning and development activities as required and maintain a record of CPD.
- Demonstrate company core values and vision.
**Requirements**
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Qualified Tutor (at least a Level 3 specialism).
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in GCSE/Functional Skills.
- Teaching Qualification (at least a Level 3).
- Driving Licence.
**Estimated Salary:** £25,000 - £35,000 per annum
