Aspris Children's Services is a leading provider of education and care services for young people with complex needs.

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Education Specialist to join our team as an English and Maths Tutor. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and support to our students, who may have autism, emotional behavioural difficulties, ADHD, and associated complex needs.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of teaching the national curriculum, as well as teaching and supporting young people within SEN schools. They will be able to demonstrate resilience, effective communication, organisation, caring, and attentiveness in their work.

Responsibilities
  • To deliver high-quality teaching and support to students with complex needs
  • To develop and implement individualised learning plans that meet the needs of each student
  • To work collaboratively with other members of the team to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
  • GCSE or equivalent qualifications in Maths and English
  • Previous experience of teaching and supporting young people with complex needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
