Job Title: Wardrobe Assistant
About the Role:
Ambassador Theatre Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wardrobe Assistant to join our team for the London production of MEAN GIRLS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Wardrobe Supervisor in maintaining the wardrobe department's daily operations
- Ensure the highest level of quality and attention to detail in all aspects of wardrobe management
- Collaborate with the costume team to achieve seamless and efficient costume changes
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with the production team, cast, and crew
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new wardrobe procedures and protocols
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role on a large-scale production
- Excellent hand and machine sewing skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on attention to detail and quality control
- Good computer skills, with experience using software such as Word and Excel
