Job Title: Deputy Head of WardrobeDisney's Hercules on Stage

Disney's Hercules is seeking a skilled Deputy Head of Wardrobe to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to work on a large-scale musical production.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the Company Manager, Technical departments, and Production Management Teams to ensure the smooth running of rehearsals and performances.
  • Assist the Head of Wardrobe in communicating with the creative team and venue staff.
  • Manage and supervise the Wardrobe team, including teaching new members of staff.
  • Perform daily setup, oversee Wardrobe pre-sets, and provide clear communication within the team.
  • Ensure awareness of understudy and swing performances and make necessary adjustments.
  • Maintain costumes and ensure they are in working order for each performance.
  • Conduct costume fittings and repair costumes as instructed.
  • Ensure the efficient flow of information and accurate production paperwork.
  • Acquire familiarity with all plots/tracks within the Wardrobe department.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar role within a large-scale musical production is highly desirable.
  • Excellent relationship and interpersonal skills with cast, creative, and production teams are essential.
  • Extensive knowledge of costume construction and ability to sew and alter garments is required.
  • Ability to remain focused and calm under pressure is necessary.
