AWS Cloud Solutions Engineer

Career Opportunities: CV Library is recruiting a skilled AWS Cloud Solutions Engineer to support our client within the Public Sector. The role is on an initial 6-month assignment and is based in either Plymouth or any main hub UK locations (hybrid). As a Cloud Solutions Engineer, you will be part of the IT Operations Practice and contribute to delivering technical infrastructure that underpins and supports the organisation.
About the Responsibilities:Your key responsibilities will include providing technical engineering capability for the Web Operations team, which is responsible for supporting production systems and working with Agile development teams to deliver new services in a highly available and supportable configuration using DevOps processes and tooling.
- You should have recent experience as a DevOps Engineer coming from a Software Development background.
- Strong experience of AWS API Gateway supporting the development of RESTful APIs, Sagemaker Studio, and Lambda is required.
- AWS data services such as ElastiCache (Redis), Glue, SQS, Athena, and Kafka are also necessary.
- Experience in working in DevOps and Agile environments is essential.
- Scripting/Programming experience (e.g., Groovy, Python, Java, Go) is needed.
Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum
