Primary School Educator

We are seeking a QTS Teacher to join our Ipswich Primary School team, where you will play a key role in providing education for pupils aged 5-11 years old with emotional and behavioural difficulties. As a Teacher, you will work in small groups, building effective relationships with students and families.
- Teaching Responsibilities:
- Developing schemes of work to meet curriculum requirements and inspection standards.
- Preparing lessons for off-site students, ensuring support staff can deliver effectively.
- Establishing supportive relationships with students, families, and carers.
- Undertaking administrative tasks associated with the teaching function.
- Complying with Catch22 policies and procedures.
- Engaging in personal and professional development activities.
- A recognised higher qualification with significant experience of teaching vulnerable youth.
- Experience working with complex, high behaviour needs and additional learning requirements.
- Proven track record of teaching K1 and KS2 pupils.
- Sound knowledge of planning, assessment, and behaviour management strategies.
- Ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet individual student needs.
