Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Sustainability Manager to join our team at Sedex. In this role, you will be responsible for managing projects associated with the evolution and improvement of Sedex tools.

Your Role

You will work within the SMETA Evolution Team to ensure the timely delivery of SMETA improvements and evolutions. You will also run individual projects, including project management of SSCI benchmarking, SMETA, and future research projects/pilots.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working within the SMETA Evolution Team to ensure the timely delivery of SMETA improvements and evolutions.
  • Running individual projects, including project management of SSCI benchmarking, SMETA, and future research projects/pilots.
  • Responsible for overseeing task management, stakeholder management, document version control, and the day-to-day running of projects.
  • Data gathering and analysis to input into design of improvements needed and track and measure the impact of changes made.
  • Answering queries from members, internal stakeholders, and collating them for improvements and communications.
  • Cross-departmental working, providing expertise, and liaising and managing engagement with other teams.

Requirements

  • Resilient and proactive with experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Practical knowledge of sustainability, business, and human rights, responsible sourcing, or ethical trade.
  • Experience operating in a multicultural environment.
  • Comfortable managing and analyzing large data sets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality management.
