About the Role

The Portfolio Controller, Infrastructure Debt role is a critical position within AXA IM Alts – Real Assets, reporting to the Head of Infrastructure Finance. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a portfolio of 130+ infrastructure debt instruments, including loans and private placements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the portfolio, performing annual credit reviews and ensuring timely receipt of compliance certificates from borrowers.
  • Assess waivers and amendments, presenting course of action to fund managers.
  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for investors.
  • Review quarterly valuations produced by FMCG and liaise with FMCG in relation to drawdowns, repayments, and prepayments.
  • Ensure data integrity of the portfolio and contribute to initiatives to integrate data into one single source.
  • Review monthly investor updates produced by FMCG.
Requirements:
  • Several years' experience in portfolio management of project finance or infrastructure debt transactions.
  • Understanding of infrastructure sectors and thorough knowledge of (infrastructure) loan and security documentation.
  • Strong credit and risk analysis skills, experience in portfolio reporting, and strong written reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently, communicate effectively with both the investment team and FMCG, and expert user of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
