Your key responsibilities will include providing basic to intermediate level desktop installation, configuration, support, and troubleshooting services in the Wintel environment. You will also be responsible for providing effective and efficient customer service to the customer, communicating with the customer keeping them informed of progress to avoid escalations, and becoming hardware and software skilled and accredited through the appropriate vendor training programmes.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have an understanding of desktop/laptop technologies and Windows operating systems. You should also have a desire to further your career in desktop support in a corporate setting and be eligible for SC clearance. In addition, you will need to be customer-focused, happy to provide great service to users in a professional environment, adaptable, and welcoming of change and communicating change to customers. Great customer-facing skills with the ability to build rapport with customers at all levels are also required.
This role offers a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also have access to a range of benefits, including 37.5 hours of work per week, 24x7 shift rotations/on call, and opportunities for career advancement.
