Construction and Joinery Teaching Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled construction worker with a passion for teaching to join our team at an alternative provision school. As a Construction Tutor, you will use your knowledge of brickwork to teach essential construction skills to students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and practical brickwork lessons to students.
- Teach students the fundamental skills of construction in a supportive and encouraging manner.
- Support students with additional needs and help them overcome barriers to learning.
- Assist students with English and Maths where needed.
- Foster a safe and positive learning environment.
Ideal Candidate:
- Knowledgeable in brickwork and willing to share expertise with students.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs, is desirable.
- Patient, empathetic, and able to build strong relationships with students.
- Comfortable supporting students with basic English and Maths.
- Reliable and committed to helping students succeed.
