About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Optimization Specialist to join our growing Customer Acquisitions team at Hearst UK. As a key member of our optimization team, you will be responsible for driving growth across subscriptions and memberships through E-commerce optimizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the optimization lead to develop and implement E-commerce optimization strategies, including AB testing, analysis, development, and QA.
  • Assist in the delivery of the development roadmap across working with CDS Global and Purenet.
  • Support the wider team on web migrations, QA testing, and audits.
  • Work closely with the acquisitions team to ensure they are kept up to date with roll outs of features, functionality, and CRO testing across our website.
  • Manage the QA/UAT progress report to ensure the business is kept up to date with progress and blockers.
  • Work with 3rd party e-commerce agencies to ensure they are fully aligned with Hearst UK business goals, KPIs, and objectives.

Reporting and Analysis

  • Use Google Analytics 4 as a primary data source to analyze traffic conversion, site conversion, checkout conversion, and platform behaviors to provide insight for optimizing funnel performance.
  • Monitor website analytics against agreed KPIs to ensure business targets are exceeded and identify areas of opportunity.
  • Communicate performance to the wider business and provide regular reports on new initiatives, data insights, and key results.

About You

  • A good knowledge of analytics and reporting.
  • Intermediate Google Analytics 4 user.
  • Analytical storyteller.
  • Previous experience working with a CMS (Adobe Commerce or similar).
  • Understanding of HTML/CSS.
  • CRO testing experience.
  • Agency management experience.
  • Project management.
