Job Summary
This exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Mergers & Acquisitions team at Ardonagh Advisory, where you will be responsible for the delivery of the due diligence process for new members and acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver the due diligence process for new members and acquisitions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support the Client Money Integrations and Remediation teams in achieving their objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate CASS 5 risks, and ensure accurate reporting.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and internal teams to align acquisitions with our business processes.
- Support the handover process following acquisition into the integration team, and ensure a smooth transition.
- Fulfil responsibilities in line with agreed processes to achieve agreed objectives, ensuring compliance with the client and insurer money rules within the FCA Handbook.
- Build and manage member and partner relationships in respect of onboarding and acquisitions and integration rollout.
- Take ownership of key regulatory requirements, such as calculations, and ensure accurate and timely completion.
- Support month-end and internal procedures, ensuring seamless operations.
Requirements
- Strong working knowledge and experience of CASS 5 regulation, with a background in a financial control environment in a financial services industry.
- Understanding of Client Money Operations concepts and processes, with a proven ability to use analytical and investigative skills to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders and build relationships.
- Microsoft skills, including Excel to intermediate level, with experience in lookups and pivots.
