Job Title: Apprentice Marketing Assistant

Freeths LLP is seeking a highly motivated and organized Apprentice Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing team. As an Apprentice Marketing Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of our marketing strategy, working closely with the Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the firm in general business development activity, including preparing for and supporting events, pitches, and meetings.
  • Undertake desk-based research to identify new lead opportunities and potential clients, carrying out background research.
  • Support events run by all 13 offices, including creating and designing invitations, managing delegate lists, and coordinating speakers.
  • General administrative and ad hoc tasks supporting BD activity.
  • Produce branded marketing material, following brand guidelines and using the Adobe Suite.
  • Video creation and editing using PremierPro, Canva, and other software.
  • PowerPoint creation and design.
  • Manage workloads and communicate effectively regarding capacity.
Requirements:
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and team-oriented approach.
  • Good writing and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to create and design marketing documents using Adobe InDesign.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Preferably educated to degree level, ideally with a marketing or business-related degree.
  • Experience working in events would be an advantage.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Confident use of social media channels, including LinkedIn and Twitter.
  • Confident use of telephone and appropriate communication skills.
  • Previous experience within a law firm or other professional services firm would be an advantage.
