Marketing Communications Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Communications Assistant to join our team at Boots Opticians. As a key member of our Marketing Communications team, you will play a crucial role in driving our marketing success and delivering innovative campaigns that engage our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of marketing plans across various channels, including paid media, events, and NPD.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of marketing activities and deliver one cohesive activation plan.
  • Work closely with media teams to achieve strong ROIs and manage critical paths and costs in line with project plans.
  • Manage stakeholders and ensure all activity is legally sound and reflective of trading priorities.
  • Build and deliver marketing reports, set and measure KPIs, and tell the story internally.

Requirements:

  • Experience working on ATL marketing channels, including TV, Radio, OOH, and Print, as well as data-driven marketing campaigns.
  • Strong creative eye and ability to maintain creative excellence.
  • Experience in project management, managing critical paths, and costs in line with project plans.
  • Awareness of customer, market changes, and industry best practice.
  • Ability to work at pace to deliver business plans right first time in line with critical dates and within budget.
  • Understanding of customer needs and ability to develop and innovate the customer experience.
  • Initiative to identify opportunities and make things happen off your own back.
  • Motivated, challenges the norm with a 'can do' attitude and customer-first mindset.
