Job Title: Teacher of Health and Social Care

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teacher of Health and Social Care to join our team at Athona Education Limited. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students, promoting their social and emotional development, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach the UK curriculum to students aged 11-18, focusing on Health and Social Care subjects.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, incorporating a range of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
  • Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, resources, and ideas, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Contribute to the development of school policies and procedures, ensuring they align with our values and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience in teaching Health and Social Care subjects, preferably in a secondary school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the needs of the school and its students.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with curriculum changes and best practices in education.
