Job Title: Health and Social Care Teacher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Health and Social Care Teacher to join our team at Athona Education Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students, promoting academic excellence and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess Health and Social Care lessons to students of varying abilities
  • Develop and implement engaging and effective teaching strategies to promote student learning and achievement
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support student development
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans and resources
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience of teaching Health and Social Care to students of varying abilities
  • Strong subject knowledge and understanding of curriculum requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
