We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to oversee business operations in our Minworth/Birmingham facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for delegating tasks to team members, resolving problems, and ensuring efficient stock inventory and employee responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach team members in processes and procedures to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain and monitor safe working practices, adhering to implemented safety protocols.
- Implement standard work and quality processes to deliver high-quality products to customers.
- Drive a zero-tolerance approach to deviations from quality processes to exceed customer expectations.
- Monitor throughput rates to support customer requirements.
- Operate visual delivery tracking systems to ensure commodity status is easily accessible.
- Report on throughput, improvement, and people requirements within specified timeframes.
- Collaborate with the Health and Safety team in investigations.
- Ensure MHE Drivers comply with Health and Safety regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in leading large teams.
- Self-motivated with excellent IT skills, including Excel and Word.
- Previous experience in a Tier 1 operation is beneficial (JIT, Sequencing, Packing, Delivery).
- Able to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
