Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Relief Chef to join our team at Enhance. As a Relief Chef, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality food services to our residents.

• Prepare and cook nutritious and delicious meals for residents, taking into account individual dietary needs and preferences.
• Ensure the kitchen is maintained to the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness, adhering to Environmental Health Agency regulations and company policy.
• Develop and implement menus that cater to the diverse needs of our residents, incorporating fresh ingredients and creative presentation.
• Work collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure seamless food service operations, including food preparation, serving, and presentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, responding to their needs and preferences in a professional and courteous manner.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.

• Advanced level qualifications in culinary arts or a related field.
• Proven experience in a sous chef role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality food services.
• Excellent understanding of nutrition requirements for the elderly, with the ability to develop and implement menus that cater to diverse needs.
• Exceptional standards in food service, including presentation, taste, and quality.
• Compassion and kindness, with a genuine understanding of the importance of quality food in enhancing the lives of our residents.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and residents.
• Valid right to work in the UK and a current Level 2 Food Hygiene and Allergen certificate.
