About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Private Credit Investing Professional to join our team in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for originating investment ideas, engaging in due diligence, and structuring and negotiating investments.

Responsibilities
  • Originate investment ideas across the product suite of Credit via early engagement with relevant parties (e.g. financial sponsors / company management teams)
  • Engage in all aspects of due diligence and business analysis to develop and refine investment theses
  • Participate in structuring, negotiating and documenting investments
  • Communicate and defend investment theses to internal stakeholders and committees, including relevant AMD and Firm-wide Investment Committees
  • Actively monitor existing investments in the portfolio
  • Build relationships with sponsors, management teams and internal GS stakeholders
Requirements
  • Investment Banking and Private Credit/Direct Lending candidate with 2 to 4 years experience
  • Strong quantitative, financial modelling, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for investing with specific interest in credit / other structured products
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexible and creative mindset; ability to analyze a variety of industries and businesses
  • Ability to self-direct, analyze and evaluate and form independent judgments
  • Ability to interact and build relationships with a wide variety of people
