Job Title: Fundraising Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Fundraising Officer to join our team at the Blockchain & Climate Institute. As a Fundraising Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating the development and implementation of our annual fundraising strategy, with the aim of significantly growing our income streams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and identify new funding opportunities, including corporate and philanthropic foundations.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy, including the creation of sponsorship proposals and event planning.
  • Represent the Institute at external events and meetings, building relationships with key stakeholders and donors.
  • Produce high-quality reports and evaluations, highlighting the impact of our fundraising efforts.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the Institute to develop and promote our work.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in fundraising, with a strong track record of securing funding from government donors, multilateral agencies, corporate donors, and foundations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and donors.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of the legal framework for fundraising and donations in the UK and Europe.
