Production Planning Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Planning Supervisor to join our team at Bluebolt Recruitment. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a manufacturing environment, utilizing your expertise in production scheduling, planning, and logistics to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule, ensuring accurate planning and control of manufacturing operations to meet customer demand and production schedules.
  2. Coordinate and chair Frozen Zone meetings and Sales and Operations Planning meetings to ensure the Master Production Schedule is up-to-date and aligned with business objectives.
  3. Ensure short-term and long-term plans are accurately reflected, with timely provisioning of long-lead time components.
  4. Upload forecasts in SAP in line with S&OP meetings, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  5. Utilize SAP to load production documentation to the shop floor, supporting the build plan and facilitating accurate tracking of progress.
  6. Provide capacity planning data to manufacturing departments, enabling effective management of overtime and subcontract decisions.
  7. Create and maintain production routings and parts allocation, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and reduce build times.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with expertise in production scheduling, planning, warehouse management, and logistics.
  2. Sound background in using SAP (MM & PP), with ability to analyze data and drive business decisions.
  3. Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office suite, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Proven people management experience, with ability to lead and motivate teams.
