Special Education Teacher

We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER to join our team at Positive Futures Recruitment Ltd. As an SEN teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting students aged 2-10 with severe learning difficulties and other complex mental and physical needs.
The Role:
As a special education teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students. You will work closely with the leadership team to develop and implement individualized education plans, ensuring that each student receives the support they need to succeed. Your expertise will also be invaluable in collaborating with other professionals, such as educational psychologists, speech therapists, and medical professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of students with complex or SEN requirements
- Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to ensure student progress and achievement
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure seamless support for students
Requirements:
- PgCE or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience working with students with complex or SEN needs
