Cover Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cover Supervisor to join our team at Long-Term Teachers Limited. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining the continuity of learning during the absence of teaching staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise classes in the absence of the teacher, ensuring a positive and safe learning environment
- Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to overcome barriers to learning
- Implement pre-prepared lesson plans, ensuring students stay on task and manage any disruptions
- Collaborate with support staff to provide a cohesive and supportive learning environment
- Promote the safeguarding and welfare of all students

- Supportive team: You will regularly liaise with your consultant who will be there to support you from the very beginning

- Has experience working with children, preferably within an educational or coaching setting
- Patient, empathetic, and dedicated
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students in their learning
- Strong understanding of SEN and strategies to support young people
- Adaptable with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to drive and have access to your own car
