We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cover Supervisor to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing cover supervision in a variety of classes across Key Stages 3 and 4. This will involve active supervision of work, giving students clear instructions to remain on task and responding to any queries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with students to keep them engaged in cover lessons
  • Manage behaviour in line with school policies, promoting positive behaviour
  • Display effective organisational and time management skills and the ability to be highly flexible in a busy school environment
  • Display good Literacy, Numeracy and communication skills to support and include all students
  • Work in conjunction with other staff members to get the best out of the students
  • Report back to the teacher as and when required
