Location: Warrington

Salary: £30,500 - £32,500

Shifts: Monday- Thursday - 22:30 - 07:30hrs and Friday 00:00 - 10.00hrs

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

About the Role:

Pertemps TM is seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to work on a fixed Night Shift. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and smooth control of warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse Operations: Ensure the efficient and smooth control of warehouse operations, including managing team performance against KPIs and customer SLAs.
  • Team Management: Manage a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service to internal and external customers.
  • Performance Management: Assist with staff development, absence, and performance management, ensuring that team members are equipped to meet demanding KPI targets.
  • Investigations: Investigate any discrepancies and follow through to an acceptable conclusion.
  • Reporting: Produce reports within given times, ensuring that all operational procedures and company developments are up to date.
  • Health and Safety: Adhere to health and safety and ISO standards, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.

Requirements:

  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years team leader/supervisory experience within a distribution environment.
  • Licence: Must hold an in-date FLT Counterbalance Licence which is RTITB/ITSSAR accredited.
  • Skills: Ability to meet demanding KPI targets, computer literate, and familiar with IT Microsoft works.
  • Communication: Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, and an excellent organiser with an approachable manner.
  • Driving Licence: Full UK Driving Licence
