Position Overview:

Kinaxia Logistics is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operations Manager to enhance our operational efficiency. This role is pivotal in managing all facets of warehouse operations, ensuring optimal customer satisfaction, financial performance, and adherence to health and safety regulations.

  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 per annum, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize IT systems in collaboration with clients to enhance workflow and operational efficiencies.
  • Assess stock management practices to ensure contract profitability and maximize warehouse space utilization.
  • Effectively manage staffing levels to guarantee sufficient resources for daily operations.
  • Champion compliance with all relevant legislation, including Health & Safety and employment laws, while overseeing internal and external audits.
  • Administer the warehouse budget within established parameters, while engaging with clients to drive revenue growth.
  • Encourage training and development initiatives to boost employee morale and facilitate succession planning.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and communicate identified areas for enhancement to senior management.
  • Provide leadership and motivation to the team, cultivating an engaged workforce that enhances productivity and customer service.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse health and safety protocols
  • Proficiency in stock management software
  • Experience in team management and development
  • Budget management expertise
  • Capability to implement innovative operational strategies
  • FLT License
