**About the Role**

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Finance team at Castle Fine Art. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for providing financial and administrative support to the company, including managing large volumes of data, performing monthly reconciliations, and assisting with closing monthly ledgers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Receive and distribute invoices via Adobe for approval to departments within the organisation
  2. Codify and process invoices accurately to ensure payments are correct and on time
  3. Prepare and process payment runs
  4. Request and reconcile monthly supplier statements
  5. Maintain a shared mailbox; collaborate with suppliers and staff internally to address and resolve queries in a timely manner
  6. Sustain daily cashbook maintenance and cashbook journals
  7. Assist in preparing management accounts and month-end duties
  8. Undertake general accounts administration

The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting and be proficient in using accounting software, such as Sage 500. A collaborative approach to working with the finance team is essential, as is the ability to efficiently manage and analyse data.
