The Secure Care Division of Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to fill the role of Healthcare Support Worker. This exciting opportunity involves working in a specialist service, providing direct care and observation of Service Users under the guidance and supervision of a qualified nurse or other team member.

As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will be required to participate in the shift system in operation within the ward/team/department. You will also be expected to attend education sessions provided to support the attainment of Intermediate Apprenticeship Framework at level 2.

This apprenticeship programme offers a unique chance to develop a career in healthcare while gaining valuable experience working in a specialist service. The division provides specialized secure mental health and learning disability services, in low, medium, and high secure settings for service users with a primary classification of mental illness, personality disorders, learning disabilities, and autism.
