We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join our client, a leading Civil Engineering & Construction main contractor, on their Water Treatment Works upgrade schemes in the East & North Midlands.

The projects involve a range of Mechanical & Electrical components on large scale alongside Civils work, requiring a dedicated Mechanical team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with the project delivery team to oversee the delivery of Mechanical aspects on site
  • Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) works
  • Ordering materials
  • Liaising with the design team to develop best solutions
  • Preparing sub-contractor orders and assisting with submission and evaluation of claims for work variations

Our ideal candidate will have experience working in a relevant field as a Mechanical Project Engineer or Mechanical Design Engineer with some site exposure. They will be able to demonstrate strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills.
