About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Department Practitioner or Nurse to join our Urology Theatre team as a Band 6 leader. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and acting as a resource for the speciality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage the implementation of individual care programmes for patients in the perioperative journey.
  • Lead and work within the Urology Theatre team, providing high-quality care for patients and acting as a deputy for the Clinical ODP Manager.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure seamless care delivery.

Requirements

  • Registered Operating Department Practitioner or Nurse with a strong background in perioperative care.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong focus on patient safety and quality care.
