Job Description:

Our client, a leading national transport provider, is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 driver to join their team in Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating curtainsider trailers, securing and strapping loads, and completing necessary paperwork. The role involves working on an ongoing basis, with any shift pattern available and any start time available.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate curtainsider trailers safely and efficiently
- Secure and strap loads to ensure safe transportation
- Complete PODs and ensure transport team is kept up to date with necessary paperwork
- Maintain a clean and tidy truck
- Comply with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

- Full UK driving licence
- 1 year HGV Class 1 experience
- Good English communication skills

Pay Rates:

- Days: £16 per hour
- Nights: £17 per hour
- Saturday: £18 per hour
- Sunday/BH: £20 per hour
- £25 per night out
