HGV Class 1 Driver Opportunity

Menzies Distribution is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to undertake the delivery and collection of product on behalf of our client and their customer, providing a first-class service in Carrington.

The Role:

  • Location: Carrington
  • Salary: £39,000.00 per annum / £15.90 per hour
  • Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, days
  • Hours: 55-60 average hours per week
  • Start Times: 04:00-07:00 / 11-12 hour shifts
  • Monthly Pay
  • Parking Onsite

HGV Class 1 Driver Responsibilities:

  • General driving duties, observing current legal and best practice delivering and collection to/from our customer's premises or other locations.
  • Delivering product on behalf of our client and their customer.
  • Use of electronic POD and up to date technology (full training provided).
  • Assisting with loading and unloading.

HGV Class 1 Driver Requirements:

  • A full UK C+E licence.
  • 12 months previous class 1 driving experience.
  • Excellent driving skills.
  • No more than 6 points on your licence.
  • No previous disqualifications.
  • Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations.
