About the Role

As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional customer experiences. Your key responsibility will be to complete installation and assembly services at customers' homes while adhering to legislation and Partnership policies.

Your Typical Day

You will start your day by ensuring all daily vehicle checks are completed, following correct defect reporting procedures. After loading and checking your route, you will undertake deliveries and collections for the day, working alongside your colleague.

Effective communication with customers is crucial, and you will need to call each customer 30 minutes prior to arrival. Upon arrival, you will deliver goods to the customer's preferred room and perform any booked services, which may include wall mount TV installations, integrated appliances, or hard-wired appliances. Please note that this role involves heavy lifting.

Key Requirements

  • A valid UK C1 license and previous experience driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role
  • Excellent communication skills, both over the phone and face-to-face
  • The ability to cope with the physical demands of the role, including handling large items such as sofas, white goods, sports equipment, furniture, beds, and mattresses
