About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Health Care Assistant to join our team at Wirral Hospice St John's. As a Health Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with life-limiting illnesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Aim to maintain a high standard of nursing care for patients within the Inpatient Unit
  • Work under the instructions of a qualified nurse to give care to patients and their families
  • Undertake clerical duties as required
  • Be aware of the holistic needs of patients and their families and the Philosophy of Hospice Care
  • Refer any queries to the Nurse in Charge

Requirements

  • QCF or equivalent Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Care Certificate
  • 6 months Nursing Auxiliary/HCA experience
