We are seeking a highly skilled Hospital Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at King's Mill Hospital in Mansfield. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of various hospital facilities, including water systems, air filters, building fabric, site services and infrastructure, boiler house maintenance, and fire alarm systems.

  • Perform thorough inspections and maintenance of water systems on the Dialysis Ward to prevent any potential issues.
  • Conduct regular checks on air filters in Operating Theatres to maintain optimal theatre lighting conditions.
  • Inspect and maintain the building fabric, including doors and closing devices, to ensure safety and accessibility.
  • Hold a nationally recognised qualification in Mechanical Engineering to demonstrate your expertise.
  • Hold a current full UK driving licence to facilitate travel between sites.
  • Display strong problem-solving skills to effectively address complex issues.
  • Have extensive knowledge of building services and general building maintenance to resolve complex problems.
  • Demonstrate proven experience working within building and building services maintenance to succeed in this role.
