Facilities Maintenance Technician

As a skilled Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of various facilities within King's Mill Hospital in Mansfield. Your role will involve performing routine maintenance tasks on water systems, air filters, building fabric, site services and infrastructure, boiler house maintenance, and fire alarm systems.
- Clean and replace primary and secondary air filters in Operating Theatres to maintain optimal theatre lighting conditions.
- Inspect and maintain the building fabric, including doors and closing devices in all areas, to ensure safety and accessibility.
- Perform daily recording and inspection of water systems on the Dialysis Ward to prevent any potential issues.
- Hold a recognised NVQ level 2 in Mechanical Engineering to demonstrate your expertise.
- Possess a full UK driving licence to facilitate travel between sites.
- Demonstrate basic computer literacy skills to effectively utilise relevant software.
- Have knowledge of building services and general building maintenance to identify and resolve complex problems.
- Proven experience working within building and building services maintenance is essential to succeed in this role.
