Job Title: Cleaning Operative 1

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative 1 to join our team at Thurso High School. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform cleaning tasks to a high standard, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
  • Operate cleaning equipment and machinery safely and efficiently
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve shared goals
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the facilities manager

Requirements:

  • Valid driving license
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
