About the Role: Volunteer Gardener

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Volunteer Gardeners. As a Volunteer Gardener, you will contribute to the upkeep of the Rare Breeds Centre's grounds, ensuring they remain a beautiful and welcoming space for visitors.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Tending to flower beds and borders
  • Assisting with bug hotel and wildlife area maintenance
  • Supporting basic hedge maintenance and feeding large livestock
  • Constructing wildlife homes and installing bird boxes and bug hotels
  • Operating a sit-on ride mower and strimmer around the site

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience and develop new skills while giving back to your community.

The estimated hourly rate for this role is £13-16, based on location and experience.
