Job Title: Gardening Assistant

This role is perfect for those who enjoy gardening and maintenance work. As a Gardening Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the grounds of the Rare Breeds Centre.

You will assist in tasks such as:

  • Maintaining flower bed areas
  • Maintaining bug hotel and wildlife areas
  • Basic maintenance of hedges for wildlife and feeding to large livestock
  • Building and creating wildlife homes
  • Installing bird boxes and bug hotels
  • Using sit-on ride mower and strimmer around site

This role can be tailored to your skills, so it can be Gardening or Maintenance based or a combination of both.

The salary for this role is estimated at £12-15 per hour, depending on experience.
