About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Female Support Worker to join our team at SeeAbility. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and assistance to individuals with disabilities, ensuring their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily support with personal care, laundry, meal preparation, medication administration, and other essential tasks.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the individuals we support, understanding their needs, preferences, and goals.
  • Take ownership of delivering exceptional care and assistance, prioritizing the safety and dignity of our service users.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external agencies to ensure seamless care coordination and person-centered planning.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of support plans, ensuring the individuals we support achieve their short- and long-term goals.
  • Participate in regular training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Hold a valid UK driving license and have a manual vehicle.
  • Be able to work on a shift rota basis, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Have a calm, patient, and resilient approach to supporting individuals with complex needs.
  • Be able to communicate effectively with individuals, families, and colleagues.
  • Hold a Level 2 or higher qualification in Health and Social Care or a related field (desirable).
