Building Safety Compliance Manager

Vivid Resourcing Ltd is seeking an experienced Building Safety and Compliance Manager to support a leading housing association in the South East. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Facilities Management and be responsible for ensuring compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022 and Fire Safety Act 2021.
Key Responsibilities- Compliance Oversight: Ensure all business areas operate in compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022 and confirm that all High-Risk Residential Buildings (HRRBs) meet the requirements of the Building Safety Act 2022.
- Advisory Role: Provide timely and specialised professional and technical advice on building safety and compliance issues, conduct training sessions for stakeholders on the Building Safety Act 2022, and manage the Assistant Building Safety Manager.
- Team Management: Oversee and resolve any defects related to life safety in site-based assets and identify and implement opportunities for ongoing enhancement of building safety and health and safety practices.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022 and Fire Safety Act 2021.
- Experience in developing and maintaining Building Safety Cases and Safety Case Reports for high-rise buildings.
- Proven experience in managing health and safety within residential settings.
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent in Building Safety or a related discipline.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with a range of stakeholders.
