Job Title: Compliance and Health and Safety Manager
About the Role:
The Compliance and Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and guidelines. This includes preparing annual plans for preventative actions, conducting risk assessments, and implementing corrective and predictive actions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with current legislation and regulations
- Prepare annual plans for preventative actions
- Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective and predictive actions
- Plan and manage health and safety training
- Coordinate the handing out and maintenance of personal protective equipment
- Define and coordinate safety requirements for emergency plans, fire drills, access control, and signage
- Deal with non-conformities and coordinate the analysis of their causes
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, procedures, and instructions
- Control and direct the management of company waste waters and residues
- Monitor incidents and manage non-conformities
- Manage customer returns and provide a response and action plan to resolve them
- Analysis and processing of data for improvement actions and coordination and training of improvement groups
- Plan, coordinate, and support the carrying out of internal and external audits
Requirements:
- Technical Industrial Engineering qualification
- Professional experience: 2-3 years in similar tasks
- Experience in carrying out audits
- Membership of NEBOSH
- Specific training: In Quality Systems (ISO 9001:2015, BRC) In Health & Safety Environment regulations and Ecovides
