About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Traffic Safety And Management Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing national activities, including the implementation, maintenance, and removal of traffic management schemes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate national activities, ensuring smooth implementation and removal of traffic management schemes
  • Oversee the maintenance of traffic management schemes, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the company to ensure best practice and develop solutions to maximize profitability
  • Embed management procedures and controls to drive productivity and achieve financial targets
  • Ensure effective communication of safety alerts, toolbox talks, and other contract methodology to the workforce
  • Develop and implement solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and repeat business
Requirements
  • Relevant Lantra Sector Scheme qualifications
  • IOSH Managing Safely/SSSTS/SMSTS or equivalent
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships and network with sector stakeholders
  • Numeracy skills to manage budgets and bid costings
  • Pragmatic and able to create solutions that meet business needs
  • Collaborative in approach
  • Proficient in the use of a PC, Microsoft Office software, and ability to work with other business management systems and use remote technology
  • Knowledge of the construction and maintenance market, particularly National Highways, local authority highway maintenance, and utilities highways works
