JS Legal Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join their busy property department. As a key member of the team, you will provide administrative support to the property fee earners, ensuring the smooth operation of the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the property fee earners in their daily tasks, including screening incoming calls and dealing with new business opportunities.
- Manage the diary, book rooms, and arrange meetings to ensure efficient workflow.
- Utilize case management systems to track and manage client files.
- Provide exceptional customer service, liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and mortgage lenders.
- Prepare and send client care letters, quotations, and other relevant documents.
- Deal with client queries, take instructions, and amend documents as required.
- Apply for searches using online services, including the Land Registry.
- Manage post-completion matters, including maintaining client files and the filing system.
- Assist fee earners in maintaining client accounts.
Requirements
- 1 year of recent Residential Property experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Excellent prioritization and multitasking skills.
- Strong telephone manner and ability to deal with client queries.
